Summer Agricultural Worker

Job Summary To assist faculty and staff conducting research/extension programs that are in alignment with established protocols regarding agricultural research. Job Duties • Assist research/Extension personnel in planting, maintaining and harvesting of agronomic crops (50% essential). • Assist with data collection of crops in fields and greenhouses (25% essential). • Assist in maintenance of facilities and grounds of Research and Education Center (25% essential). Physical Requirements The position requires standing for prolonged periods, sitting for extended periods, walking or moving about, using hands or feet to operate machinery, ascending or descending, positioning self to accomplish tasks, recognizing or inspecting visually, moving, transporting, raising or lowering, extending hands or arms in any direction, and perceiving, observing, or clarity of vision.
