Our company is currently seeking a qualified individual of strong character to join our growing team! The Opportunity: The Sidewalk Team Member reports directly to the Area Manager and is responsible for ensuring quality and efficiency of SIM services. Key responsibilities include playing a crucial role in keeping sidewalks and pedestrian pathways clear of snow and ice. You will work as part of a team to efficiently remove snow and apply de-icing materials to maintain safe walkable conditions. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to work in cold and demanding weather conditions. What We Value: ① One Team ② Service Heart ③ Accountability ④ GRIT ⑤ Innovation Your Day to Day: • Clear snow and ice from sidewalks, walkways, and entrance areas using shovels, snow blowers and other hand tools • Apply de-icing materials to prevent the formation of ice on pedestrian pathways • Work closely with Walks Leader to follow established routes and schedules • Monitor and report any equipment maintenance needs promptly • Maintain a strong commitment to safety and follow all safety guidelines and protocols • Work effectively as part of a team to meet snow removal goals. Who You Are (Qualifications & Skills) – Must Haves: • Previous experience in snow removal or similar outdoor work is a plus, but not required • Ability to work early morning, late-night, weekend and holidays, as needed • Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more – shovel and lift snow for extended periods • Strong work ethic and a positive attitude in challenging weather conditions • Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with a team • Reliable transportation to and from work location The Good Stuff: The Sidewalk Team Member is eligible to receive: • Competitive Compensation • State of the Art Equipment and Technology • Training • Opportunity for additional seasonal employment Job Type: Temporary Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour License/Certification: • Driver's License (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: • Livonia, MI: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
