Ranch Hand

This position will monitor all safety protocols; supervise and assist volunteers, participate in grounds maintenance and maintaining cleanliness; and fill in when volunteers are not present to perform daily chores. This position reports to the Ranch Foreman. This is a full-time hourly position. This position will not be a horse handling position. ● Assist maintenance and chore teams ● Assist Foreman in maintaining training programs as needed to better utilize volunteers ● Assist Foreman in coordinating volunteers to perform daily chores ● Assist Foreman in maintaining volunteer schedules for daily chores ● Assist Foreman in maintaining inventory of ranch equipment and supplies ● Perform ranch and vehicle maintenance and chores as directed by Ranch Foreman ● Serve as a point of contact for volunteers ● Assist Foreman in maintaining daily chores board ● Other duties as assigned Full time. Five days/week, Generally Monday through Friday eight hours a day. Minimum Education: High School diploma required. Physical Requirements: Able to lift 100 pounds. Able to be on their feet for 4 - 8 hours a day. Required Skills: Ability to work collaboratively within a team structure. Ability to maintain an active year-round outdoor schedule. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem solving skills. Ability to take direction and learn quickly while working. Experience: One or more years of ranch hand experience is preferred.
