Landscaping Crew Member

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Crew Member to join our team in providing high-quality landscaping and maintenance services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in various aspects of lawn care, landscape maintenance, and gardening. This role involves working with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment to ensure that our clients' outdoor spaces are beautifully maintained and functional. Duties • Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging to maintain a neat appearance. • Assist in landscape maintenance activities such as planting, weeding, and mulching. • Utilize hand tools and power tools for various gardening tasks and hardscape installations. • Operate excavators and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently for site preparation and construction projects. • Conduct tree care activities including tree trimming and removal as needed. • Implement irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns. • Participate in snow plowing during winter months to maintain safe access for clients. • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety protocols. • Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition through regular cleaning and basic repairs. Requirements • Proven experience in landscaping, horticulture, or related fields is preferred. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators. • Familiarity with lawn care practices, landscape maintenance techniques, tree care methods, and irrigation systems. • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while performing physical tasks that may require lifting or moving heavy objects. • Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration with colleagues. • Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work consistently.
