Irrigation Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Irrigation Technician to join our landscape maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for lawns, gardens, and landscapes. This role requires a strong understanding of horticulture, landscape maintenance, and the use of various hand and power tools. The Irrigation Technician will play a vital part in maintaining healthy, thriving landscapes through efficient irrigation practices. Duties • Install, repair, and troubleshoot irrigation systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as excavators. • Conduct routine inspections of irrigation components to identify leaks, clogs, or malfunctions. • Perform landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, pruning, and general landscaping duties to support overall site health. • Utilize mechanical knowledge to adjust sprinkler heads, valves, timers, and controllers for proper system operation. • Assist with construction projects related to landscape improvements or new installations. • Maintain detailed records of system repairs and maintenance activities. • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient project completion and customer satisfaction. Qualifications • Proven experience with irrigation systems installation and repair. • Mechanical knowledge related to landscape equipment and irrigation components. • Familiarity with lawn care, landscape maintenance, and general landscaping practices. • Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other construction equipment safely and effectively. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift heavy equipment or materials as needed. • Prior experience with land surveying or construction is advantageous but not required.
