Hydroponic Farm Volunteer

Get hands-on experience in a high-tech hydroponic farm at Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro South. Volunteer opportunities are available to help maintain our farms and feed the community. Freight Farm volunteers work in seeding, transplanting, and harvesting greens, which are then incorporated into meal service for Club members and distributed throughout the community. The Farms provide fresh, healthy vegetables for our Kids Caf Healthy Meals Program and are also distributed to local partner agencies combatting food insecurity. Volunteers play a critical role in sustainingably donating 100% of excess produce to individuals and families in need throughout the Metro South region.
