Horticulture Specialist – Floral Production Support

Le Jardin Français is an international Floral, Event, and Garden Design company known for refined, botanical-driven work. We are seeking a Horticulture Specialist – Floral Production Support to join our growing team. This hybrid role supports floral production, retail operations, and event work, making it ideal for someone who thrives across garden, studio, and client-facing environments. Position Overview This role bridges horticulture, foraging, commercial account installation, and retail support. The ideal candidate has strong plant/hort knowledge, enjoys hands-on outdoor work, and is equally comfortable supporting in a retail and production setting. This position directly supports our Floral Design Team, and all retail locations. Key Responsibilities Horticulture Support & Client Operations • Harvest and forage foliage to support floral production and retail needs • Support floral production for events, weekly accounts, and retail orders • Install branches and floral compositions at commercial clients weekly • Refresh same weekly accounts , and any other client orders calling for an event team • Install and maintain orchid subscriptions • Assist with off-site event installations as needed • Maintain organization, cleanliness, and brand presentation across workspaces Qualifications • 3–5 years of experience in horticulture, floral design, garden work, or related fields • Orchid experience - STRONGLY PREFERRED • Horticulture degree or extensive plant knowledge strongly preferred • Strong understanding of plant identification, care, and handling • Ability to work both independently outdoors and collaboratively indoors • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Positive, proactive, and adaptable work style • Valid Georgia Driver’s License • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs • Fluency in Spanish and/or French is a plus, but not required • Flexible availability; occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays may be required Benefits • Employee discount • Opportunity for growth within a creative, design-focused company How to Apply Please send your resume and a brief summary of your background and interest in the role to: courtney@lejardinfrancais.com A portfolio may be requested if applicable.
