• Farm Operations Laborer – Spalding - Humphrey, NE Pay Rate: $18.00/hour Schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (45–50 hours per week) On Call: Every third weekend About the Position We are seeking a dependable, self-motivated individual to join our team in Spalding, Nebraska. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating equipment, and taking on a variety of hands-on tasks. New hires will begin by working alongside an experienced employee for the first week or so to ensure a good fit before operating independently or being assigned a company vehicle. Responsibilities • Operate and maintain farm machinery, including tractors, payloaders, skid steers, road graders, and excavators. • Perform a variety of farm and service operations such as: • Lagoon pumping • Compost processing and spreading • Sewer jetting • Road grading and shredding • Spraying and general maintenance work • Operate center pivots powered by diesel and electric pumps. • Conduct light mechanical and maintenance work as needed. • Follow all biosecurity, safety, and animal welfare protocols. • Requirements • Must be 18 years or older with a clean MVR and valid driver’s license. • General electrical and mechanical knowledge preferred. • Ability to perform physical labor, including walking and lifting, in outdoor environments. • Strong time management and organizational skills. • Willingness to work 50+ hours per week, with extended hours during busy seasons. • Transportation Once a candidate is determined to be a good fit, they will be assigned a company vehicle (picked up in Humphrey) to drive to and from Spalding. Paid time begins when the company vehicle is picked up in Humphrey.
