Farm Worker General

Adjust speed of cutters, blowers and conveyors and height of cutting head using hand tools. Changes cutting head as appropriate for crop. Drives heavy truck to transport product to elevator or storage area. Drives transporter truck to haul harvesting machines between work sites. Services machinery and makes in field repairs. CDL license required. 3 month truck driving and farm work experience. Employer will provide one worker per crew with a cb radio to stay in contact with the crew. It is provided without any charge or deposit charge to at least one worker per crew during the entire period of employment. Housing is provided. Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence is also offered. Transportation will be provided at no cost to workers, from employer-provided housing and, if applicable, centralized pick-up points to the places of employment at the beginning of each workday and back at the end of each work day.
