Farm Hand/Laborer

Job Title: Farm Hand As a Farm Hand, you will play a vital role in the daily operations of our agricultural enterprise, contributing to the growth and maintenance of crops and livestock. What you’ll do • Assist in the planting, growing, and harvesting of crops while ensuring optimal conditions for growth. • Provide care for animals, including feeding and monitoring their health and well-being. • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, ensuring they are in excellent working condition. • Perform routine repairs on equipment and tools, utilizing your mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues. • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various farming tasks. • Engage in heavy lifting and operation of heavy equipment as needed. Basic qualifications • Experience in farming or agriculture is essential. • Strong animal husbandry skills with a focus on animal care and handling. • Basic math skills for measuring and calculating feed, fertilizer, or other agricultural needs. Preferred qualifications • Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair. • Welding skills for maintenance tasks on the farm. • Experience with crops used in cattle farming • Familiarity with forklift operation to assist with loading and unloading materials. Your contributions as a Farm Hand will be essential to the daily operation of the farm. A strong work ethic will be required.
