Farm and General Laborer

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Farm and General Laborer. This role involves hands-on work across various farm operations, including animal care, equipment maintenance, and crop management. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a passion for farming and livestock management. Days/Hours: Varies with workload This is a 1099 position and employee is responsible for all taxes Responsibilities • Assist with animal husbandry tasks, including feeding, watering, and general animal care for livestock • Operate farm machinery and heavy equipment such as tractors, skidsteer, backhoe, and zero turn lawn mowers safely and efficiently • Perform equipment repair and maintenance using hand tools, power tools, and other mechanical skills • Manage crop planting, harvesting, greenhouse operations, and horticultural activities • Fence construction, repair and maintenance • Conduct heavy lifting of supplies, feed bags, hay bales, or other materials required on the farm • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards across all work areas • Support general farm tasks Requirements • Prior experience in agricultural or farm settings is preferred • Mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery and equipment repair is highly desirable • Experience with animal husbandry, animal handling, is a plus • Ability to operate equipment, power tools, hand tools, and heavy machinery safely • Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work outdoors in various weather conditions • Strong work ethic with a focus on safety This position is ideal for individuals passionate about agriculture who are eager to learn new skills while contributing to the growth of our farm operations.
