Located in Knoxville, TN, the stable emphasizes both skill-building and community. Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Barn Worker role located at Sonny Brooke Stables in Knoxville, TN. Responsibilities include daily care of horses, such as feeding, turning in and out, and cleaning stalls. Additional tasks include maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the barn, assisting with feed preparation, handling horses, and aiding with barn operations as needed. Ensuring the well-being and safety of the horses is a primary focus of this role, along with supporting the daily operations of a professional equestrian facility. Qualifications • Experience with horse care, including feeding, grooming, and basic health checks • Stall cleaning, barn maintenance, and familiarity with equestrian equipment • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an active and physically-demanding environment • Strong attention to detail and commitment to the safety and well-being of animals • Previous work experience in a barn or stable setting is preferred but not required • Reliable transportation and ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
